I've had this phone for about a year now. it has been okay up until a few months ago.i barely drop this phone. i never put water on or near it and it shuts off on me or freezes up. the worst thing now is i can't close it. if i do the screen gets all messed up. if i close it and lock it, it turns a very dark blue with half and half of the screen divided and it flashes also. before it would just be blue and not let me see anything. also it's sometimes vice versa. sometimes i cant open it or it will get messed up. i would not get this phone if you want it for a long time.

I bought the phone for my mother her two year contract was over she wanted a new phone without having to sing a new contract I found this one but when I received the phone it was on a pre paid labeled packing I tried to activate it online but it did not work so I contacted the seller and they replied fast and assured it was unlocked and that I should be able to activate it so I called Verizon and they were able to activate the phone even though it said it was a pretty paid phone. I liked the timely support from the seller so it all worked out.

It's too small. It takes 3 times as long to send a text because the buttons are so close together that every word winds up being misspelled. With my old LG phone, I could just open it and start texting but, with this POS, I have to go through 5 screens to text somebody. It's even worse if I want to send to multiple contacts!
When I'm trying to slide it open, I drop it...I like a flip better.
I won't keep this phone very long.

I have had this phone since June of 2009 and have had little trouble with it. I did buy it unlocked here off of Amazon, not sure of the company though. I have had occasional freezing from it, which is the only reson it didn't get a 5 star from me. I have read previous reviews of how it doesn't support internet even in 3G, or that the picture messaging does not work. I have used the web browser in normal service with only 2 bars before. While extremely slow, it does work, so I really don't know where the "not working in 3G" came from. Also, i have sent, and recieved Multi Media Messages (MMS) throughout my time of having this phone. The e-mail client and IM client also functions properly. Overall, this is a great phone and I highly reccommend it to anyone looking for a cheap, yet pleasing phone.

When I first got this phone, I was so upset with how unresponsive the screen was what with it being a new phone and whatnot. After I gave it a couple of days it grew on me. Just remember you get what you pay for. In my opinion, the sliding keyboard is much more effective then the touchscreen. The touchscreen only offers the numbered keypad for texting and then there's the slide out keypad that's not too bad. I definitely like the conversation back and forth instead of the phone having an inbox separate from the outbox. I don't feel like I wasted my money on this phone anymore since I gave it a chance. As I said before, you get what you pay for.

It is an LG phone geared for the AT&T network. It work perfectly. Only thing is that it comes with AT&T apps. Since I do not use it for 3G, no big deal; I ordered it work with my basic plan. Only bummer for me is that it does not send or receive picture messages because it is 3G technology. I can live with this. I ordered because of the flash. It does take good pictures - 3.2 MB camera. I have an SD card, so I can transfer the pictures I do take. Touch screen is great and fun. Love it over my last Samsung Intensity 2.

So I just bought the white version of this phone a few days ago from ATT, out of contract for $400. I got the unlock codes that night and went straight to T-mobile the next day and got a much cheaper unlimited no-contract plan with 4G LTE working just fine. I love this phone! I've been an HTC fan, with their beautiful skins, for many years, but the limited screen size and storage on their recent offerings almost had me buying a Samsung Note 2. I'm glad I researched and found the cheaper, yet better spec'ed Optimus Pro instead. I would have loved a better quality camera, no custom android skin, stylus, and different button placements, but all the other tech attributes at this price is simply awesome. Sure, the upcoming Note 3 is better, but way too expensive and while the rumored Nexus 5 might be a tad cheaper, it probably won't have a 5.5" screen and certainly won't have upgradable memory and batteries. I just wish there were more cases available for this unknown and underrated LG phablet...

LG Optimus G Pro does not disappoint. Internet surfing is astonishing, like a desktop computer performance. The pictures and videos are very vivid and clean. The audio is mediocre but when played with speakers or headset, the sound is crisp and clear even with high bass. The extraordinary feature this phone offered which stunned me the most is the ability to control different appliances like tv, aircon, audio, projector,etc. A phone with great and quality capabilities for 780 dollars, it's all worth it and a must have.

I went out to the LG Forum and many G2X users have had this problem. What a piece of JUNK. I should have bought the Galaxy S 4G.

I have had my G2x 14 months now and had no serious problems. I have removed the battery twice in that time to do a hard reset but that seems a very minimum amount of trouble to me. Screen resolution looks as good as the retina display on my iPod, it's more than fast enough on download/upload speed tests on T-Mobile's local 4G network, never a dropped call and call quality is excellent. I've downloaded many utility apps (no games) and use those as well as the browser/search features frequently. Also heavy usage with email and SMS texting.

I really like this phone for texting, but the touchscreen is very difficult to use. When I am trying to scroll through my contact list, it is very bad at figuring out where I'm scrolling or clicking. And for some reason I can only ever scroll when holding the phone with my left hand. When I have the phone in my right hand, it does not recognize any thumb swipes whatsoever. I guess it must have to do with how the swiping algorithm is programmed. It's a good solid phone for a very reasonable price, but if I had it to do over again I would not buy this phone.

I am only an occasional cell phone user so most of the time it is turned off. I use this as an AT&T Go Phone. I needed Bluetooth capability, which my previous phone lacked. I have a vacation home that has only a marginal signal in one corner of the second floor, and I wanted a call phone that would connect to an X-Link device that connects to the main phone, which no longer has an outside line. This phone works fine in that regard. My main complaint is that it's virtually impossible to use in the sunlight. Got this phone recently, seller sent it promptly and arrived in pristine conditions. It can be daunting at first when you turn it for the first time and see the system language in something like chinese or korean. It comes with too few languages to choose from as the included are mostly asian. I had to replace the rom in order to get european ones.
I'm not that into android but I find some good and useful things on it I can put to work. Not my primary phone but it's very pretty fast, battery life is decent, and the screen is really good.
You cannot go wrong with this phone.

The phone was a great value, as I bought it for both texting and talking. The pull-out keyboard let me write messages easily and wasn't that hard to figure out after I got used to how it worked. The phone can also be dialed by using the touch screen feature, so you don't have to pull the keyboard out for anything but texting. A button has to be pressed first (unlike 4G phones) to put the phone into touch-screen dialing mode, but that's not a major problem for me. Nice and compact and (so far) rugged enough to sit in my change pocket to be pulled out in a hurry when an important call comes in or has to be made.

This phone has a great deal to recommend it, it turns on quickly, has excellent reception, and the latest Android operating system. The things I don't like are: preloaded and irremovable apps in Chinese (I would guess this phone was originally for the Asian market) and somewhat limited battery life when the wi-fi, bluetooth, and GPS are turned on. I'm looking into a heavier duty battery as it spends some time on the charger every morning. For about $150.00 you'll be getting a phone very comparable in quality and features to either the last generation I Phone or a Galaxy 3. And, of course it's unlocked so it can be used with any GSM carrier, a big plus, at least for me.

The touch is very sensitive so be careful when scrolling for a number early morning or you will end up calling your boss like I did.
I love the concept of the dual sim since I have a business but there is a hold button at the bottom of the touch and my chin keeps hitting it while I talk....have not found a way to disable it. The other con is when you receive a phone call if you do not answer on the first or second ring the touch screen almost shuts down and you cannot answer it....might be just operator error?
overall despite the cons it is a decent phone for the price....have not used the dual sim yet so cannot comment on that.

LG Thrill Optimus 3D P920 Unlocked Android Cell Discounts

Purchased a different phone from Amazon.com (not through, but from!) less than 1 year ago with an "International Warranty." LG USA claims this warranty is worthless. Further, because phone is not LG USA phone, they claim to be unable to even repair it, even outside of warranty. They said "maybe" their parent company could do something and referred me to contact LG '', Seoul, Korea, but said they don't know how to even contact them. Really?!? They provided me with no contact information. Unless your Korean language ability is better than mine, you might have trouble even getting a reply. And unless Amazon is selling the exact same phone and has more in stock (?), they apparently cannot repair or replace the phone. So, unless somebody out there knows something I don't about this, DO NOT COUNT on a warranty against manufacturer defects. My phone apparently was a Canadian phone, but perhaps because it wasn't purchased from "Amazon.ca", but Amazon.com, LG Canada refuses to honor any "International warranty." It seems that an International warranty means internationally, there is NO warranty! So beware!

I received model P925 instead of the P920 that was advertised so I was only able to get 2g speed with tmobile service. I contacted the seller and he apologized for the mishap and promptly sent me a return label to send back the phone. the phone looked good but I wanted 3g speed. Double check with the seller to make sure that you are really getting model P920 if you use tmobile. Model P925 will not allow you to edit the APN setting so beware.

Within a month the first one I had kept randomly shutting down and would not reboot unless the battery was removed and replaced. Only to take 10 minutes to restart after doing so. If you plan to use the phone for anything length of time, don't expect the battery to last you more than a few hours. Many other phones will last FAR longer then this does. And if this phone truly is 4G its slower than absolute hell! That's assuming it will actually boot the application up and doesn't constantly restart it. The only good things about this phone is the screen size and 3d capabilities. But for a little bit more you can buy a WAY better phone that you'll actually want to use.

This is a very good phone for texting and taking and viewing pictures. I've had it for 3 years and might even get another one. No, it's not as cool as a smart phone, but I don't want that expense. The keyboard is easy to use for someone who might have large fingers. The font is as big as I can find, honestly, I can't find any fault with this phone.

I've had my Env Touch for over a yr. A lot of people complain about the screen coming unlocked when u put it in your pocket. I've never had a problem with it pocket dialing people. If you simply hit the side lock button twice, the screen goes black and it can't do anything while in your pocket! I just purchased my second phone today because out of my negligence, I broke the first one. The picture quality is great, it's light weight, simple and not too confusing. It could be a lil louder but who needs the whole world to know u got a text or call? The only time I've had a problem with this phone was when it needed a system update and it would shut off whenever i got online. It was a simple trip to the verizon store and a free update, problem solved! i'd recommend this phone to anyone

i bought the first one for my teenage son. seemed like a good phone for the price. his dad liked it too so after a couple of weeks i bought another one for him. a few weeks later, my husbands phone didn't receive any calls or textes for well over 7 hrs... bad since he is in the medical field. a few days later, my son's phone did the same thing. both phones receive messages and textes at random. my son's phone would only make emergency calls once and when i called him went to voice mail. the only way to fix this problem is to turn off the phone and turn it back on again. problem is, you pretty much never know when it isn't working. we have had the same cell carier for years and never had this happen until we started using this phones. next time, i will stick to samsung like we usually have....

I purchased this phone July 2011 as a replacement phone for my teen daughter. She absolutely loves it. She is very pleased with it. She loves the touch screen. she wishes that it had a better variety of ringtones but this doesn't interfere with the function of the phone. The only down fall is it didn't come with a instruction booklet or an earpiece, because she like to talk and put the phone in her pocket so she doesn't have to hold it and this is why the earpiece would be very handy. I wanted to purchase another one for myself but according to my daughter, its not cool for mom and daughter too have the same phone in the same color...maybe if it was in another color.

A major disappointment. First, just out of the box, the phone failed to charge. No matter how I tweak the cable nothing happened. I'm not sure if I've had this experience before. Isn't battery charging a very basic technology? But LG didn't get it. Then within 5 minutes of use, the phone freezes. I couldn't even switch it off. I'm not very picky when it comes to cell phone, but if it fails on these basic operations, what's the use of it? Don't even think about buying it.

My daughter love it. I have a Galaxy SIII. The LG Optimus L9 is a good replacement for half the price. Under the sun light the galaxy SIII screen beats by far the LG. , The SII is too wide. had=rd to find car mounts. The LG doesn't have that problem. Is not as wide as the SIII. The phone is very responsive.
No problem with a pay as you go SIM. Works very fast with WiFi N.

I love this little phone! I have had plenty of phones and this one tops them all by far. I have been described as a "monster texter" and this phone is great for that. But it also has a super camera and operates perfectly as a phone. Even after my guy got me an iPhone I insisted on keeping this phone, too, because nothing facilitates texts like this and it doesn't impose bizarre spelling on my words. When the battery started to fade, I got a new one. Now the phone is getting a little old and it is starting to turn off by itself. But I have been so pleased with it that I am ordering a new one from an Amazon vendor as opposed to buying a refurbished one from Verizon. I hope I will have many more happy years with the LG enV3!

Bought this phone for my step-son who is very hard on phones. The first couple of weeks of having the phone, he complained the phone was cutting off. I had several emails with the seller, who was very nice and offered a suggestion to fix it and then a replacement. In the meantime, I had also done some research on the phone, which I should have done beforehand. And, found out it is a battery issue with this particular phone. I followed the suggestion I found on the internet, which was to put a folded piece of paper between the battery and back cover to make sure it was "tight". This has worked so far. Seller was fine, phone just ok.

Phone was great - until it broke two months after we bought it. We sent it back to the company for a replacement phone we were told it was still under warranty. When our replacement phone came in the mail, it didn't work right out of the box. When we contacted the company, our warranty had expired and even though the phone was broken straight out of the box they would not replace it or refund it. My wife liked the product but it is ridiculous this company won't replace their defective product. Don't risk your money.

I can charge it with the USB cable on my computer but I had to buy a different charger for the wall. Otherwise the phone design is a good one and I'd recommend it.

Zero.. just referrals to somebody else...I got referred to Canada etc....Basically what I'm saying is if you buy this no warranty phone and there is a problem...you just flushed 200 dollars ,minimum, down the drain like I did. The phone locked up after about 1.5 months and became a very expensive paper weight. Let the buyer beware....no warranty

Camera's great; love phone; received packaged well and in a timely manner. Second time I BOUGHT a phone; usually went with the free one throughout phone contracts, however, we tried Straightalk and their phones (hated phone; hated service). For a Smartphone, this wasn't such an expensive plunge from free, but with previous bad experiences, I was ready for a Smartphone; recommend getting unlocked (this was) as it wil give you freedom with whichever company you wish. We are with Walmart's Family Plan with T-Mobile and VERY pleased with service, price and unlimited data with our service for a reasonable price. I was very reluctant to get a Smart phone because Data Plans were so costly, however, this phone and our plan are a GREAT combination.
